Great fun at Victoria Square….bring your family and friends…
Here’s an opportunity to Come ‘n Try Aussie Bocce at Victoria Square/Tarndanyangga on Saturday 8 October from 10.30am to 3pm. Bocce is played between two players or two teams of up to four players on a team. The rules of bocce are relatively basic, and allow you to start playing and enjoying this easy to manage game within minutes regardless of your ability.
One of the oldest sports in the world, Bocce is also one of the most exciting and enjoyable sports.
You may be interested in playing Bocce competitively, or you might just want to play a friendly game on the courts set up on Victoria Square. You can watch and meet some of the masters competitors in the morning session as well.
Entry is by gold coin donation, so everyone who is interested is most welcome to join in and ‘have-a-go’.
Come ‘n Try Aussie Bocce is a great way to be active and experience the outdoors, so whether you are a seasoned player or an absolute beginner this could be the event for you.
